Currently on Avalanche 5.3 and no real complaints. I'm planning 2018 projects and upgrading to 6.1 was on my list.
All of our devices are Windows. Approximately 1300-1400 devices.
Do I get any real benefits of upgrading to 6.x?

Key Indicator ( Ctrl/Alt/Numeric/Upper case/Lower case)
Hi,
Had been using Honeywell D6500 (WinCE5.0) with Wavelink for the model.
On the Wavelink, it shows the special keys ( Ctrl/Alt/Numeric) on the Wavelink Telnet Emulator.
But when upgrade device to Honeywell D6510 ( WinCE6.0), there is no Wavelink TE for it and had to use Universal version.
The universal version does not support special key indicator and therefore not able to show if CTRL/ALT/Numeric is keyed.
Is there no way to show them? Or will there be a version that will support D6510?

Velocity Android Keyboard
is it possible to have a keyboard only on the Right\left side of the display in a landscape Mode?
I was able to generate a keyboard, by the console, but not able to find any information about the position (X,Y) of it on the display.
The keyboard is always showed on the bottom of the display and for all length of the display.

What program can be used to load the browser from Windows 10
What program can be used to load the WaveLink Telnet CE Web browser from a Windows 10 PC? I have been using Windows Mobile Device Center from Windows 7 pc's but it is not supported on Windows 10.

Selection criteria is not working.
Hi guys! i have just installed on my virtual machine the new Avalanche version (Avalanche 6.1 SP3 (6.1.106.496) release) and im having problems whit selection criteria.
The devices all the time stays in Unassigned Devices , ignoring all my folders and the selection criteria.
Tips:
1- The devices are licensed
2- The Mobile devices server are correctly established in their regions and running.
3- I tried to reinstall the Mobile Device server whit no result.
4- Everything is deployed , and the devices are contacting whit the server.
5- The selection criteria i usually use : ModelName , TerminalID, or IP. The selection criteria wizzard show has valid.

Avalanche 6.2 installation - DB Connection failed
Dear all,
I would like to know if anyone has made a new install of Avalanche 6.2?
I've attempted this on my PC (Windows 8.1 SQL Server 2012 existing SQL instance) and also Win server 2012 and SQL server - a new machine with nothing installed on it - just Windows server - on which I installed SQL server 2012 and created new instance.
On both machines, the installation is done, during it, Ava install asks for DB connection credential and server which are on the same machine, creates Avalanche Databases.
When installation finished, it's not possible to launch http console; Enterprise server service is stopped, and eache time we try to start is, it fall dows after few seconds with the following error in the logs (colored red):

TelnetCE License MC9060-G (pre-installed recovery?)
Hello,
I had a preinstalled TelnetCE license on a Symbol handheld device that was sent off for repair. When we received the device back from repair, the os had been flashed and reinstalled so the pre-installed license is no longer there, and TelnetCE only works in demo mode. Is there a way to correct this issue since the device should still have a valid license for the TelnetCE?

How to send data from a thrid android app to Velocity
My goal is to send data to Velocity client. For this reason I am using an intent on my custom Application. the code is the following:

However the above code does not get inside if statement. This means that it can not resolve current intent action.
My questions are:
- Is the above (com.wavelink.intent.action.EMDK.SEND) action string valid for calling corresponding Velocity Action? If not what is the corrcet string?
- The above method would like to be called on a key press. What script to I need to write in Velocity console in order to call a method of another application?

We have MOT_MC92N0_CE7 Wavelink Product Configuration installed on a PC. It is not communicating via USB. Is there a Windows 10 version? Is the product even still supported?

Installing Avalanche 5.3 windows 10 fall creator update
Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with Avalanche 5.3 installing on an MC9190 running windows ce using windows 10 Fall Creator update?
We can't seem to figure this out and Zebra doesn't seem to know what has broke after the fall creator update.
A VC6090 running windows mobile works fine. I did get this working once. But after a reboot the MC9190 doesn't even show up in device manager when I place it in the cradle.
Any thoughts would be great.

Text Goes Off Screen - Wavelink, Produce Pro
Hey everyone,
I've been having this issue with my MC9190s and MC92N0s for awhile now and I still haven't figured it out.
Basically we run using Produce Pro and the text seems to be running off the screen. I'm not allowed to take the simple route of just enabling the horizontal scroll.
Here's what going on:
As you can see, the text cuts off at 2. There is more after this. Look below: (All I did to get it all to display for this picture is take the text down to 11 rather than having it at 13, however its far to small.)
It doesn't just change the login screen, it happens all through the software. It's super hard for them to do their job when this is happening. Any ideas?

Switch between Telnet VT sessions too long CV31 7.3.296.
Hi
The switch between sessions, is very long on a CV31 Ce7.0. Version TE 7.3.296. I clocked, and it's over 30 seconds each time. Despite the disabling of network support, the problem remains unresolved. An idea ?
CV31 + SR61B + Wavelink TelnetCE 7.3.256- 4 VT sessions.
PS: I tried the universal version, and no problem switch but problems reading Bluetooth SR61B scanner.

In Telnet CE FN F9 and F7 no funktion
Hello all,
we have change from Motorola to Zebra Warkabout pro 4.
We use telnet ce 7.3 and we need the F7 and F9 Button.
If i press the Button, no function with CTRL with blue FN no reaction.
so i have do from a other forum,edit the emulationparameters.i must press the 7 button 1sek to press F7.
it‘s work but it is not the best solution.
i want use the F7 With the blue FN Button,what can i do?

How to get details of SSID in Wavelink Console
Hi All,
I was just looking for a way to display the SSID (Reported and Assigned SSID) in the console. There are properties like AgentAddress, AppliedProfile, AssignedIP, etc., so is there a similar Property for SSID or is there a way we could get it displayed on the AMC Console under Columns or in Filters?
